Privacy, plainly.

This website is run by Oleh Oleksiuk, based in Poland, who releases music as Mar De Nor. I am responsible (the “controller”) for the personal data described here.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver and protect it, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, your browser type, and the time. Cloudflare keeps these logs for a limited period under its own settings. I don’t use them to identify or follow visitors, and the site has no analytics.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare operates worldwide, so this data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards in Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum.

There is no contact form or mailing list. If you email me, I receive your email address, any name you give, and your message, and use them only to read and reply. I keep messages only as long as the conversation and any follow-up need, unless the law requires me to keep them longer.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering messages (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or steps you ask for before an agreement, such as a booking (Article 6(1)(b)). Writing is optional, but I need a reply address to answer.

My email is hosted by Apple (iCloud Mail). Apple may process messages outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts and images come from this site itself; no third-party scripts, trackers, or players are loaded.

Links to music services, social networks, and the iTunes Store take you to those services, whose own privacy policies apply. Any purchase happens there, not on this site.

Under the GDPR you can ask me for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and for a copy to take elsewhere where that applies. Write to contact@mardenormusic.com; I’ll reply within one month. I don’t sell your data, profile you, or make automated decisions about you.

You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or to the authority where you live or work.
